The Pinter site is complex in terms of business requirements but had to remain simple in terms of user experience. A customer for example could set up a subscription, buy merchandise, buy packs of beer, send a gift product to a friend, all within a single basket. On the surface this is all handled simply for the user, with functionality to enable them to allocate different products to different deliveries. Under the hood, the solution integrates with fulfilment systems and processes and order tracking to make this all happen.

The site includes a stepped shop experience which was designed mobile-first. This hand holding approach enables a new customer to tailor the package they want and to set up their subscription for the first time, or to make one off purchases. Dynamic discounting happens here and in the basket based on the user's selections.

A bespoke Subscription app has been developed, a first of it's kind, using Shopify's new Subscription API, all tailored to Pinter's requirements.
